[edit] Site overhaul
- I had an idea for the site. Rather then make the site an out of universe reference material, I think it might be a cool idea if we treat the articles like the war actually happened. Make the articles Wikipedia style. Being the media in the game is unaware of mercenary involvement (all the news reports talk about allied soldiers doing the job) we write the articles without any mention of merc involvement. - OK yeah that might be a cool idea but then again Mercenaries is about the mercenaries so if we did that then we just be a wiki about a war with some random pages about mercs. so i am sure you can see why that would be kinda wierd. if you want to see what we are aiming to become you may wanna check out

Talking about the various scandals behind the inception of the M2 Bradley IFV during it's development phase or the detailed historical significance of the Mi-24 Hind hardly relates to in-game mechanics. Remember, we are primarily a guide for the players of the game who want to learn a little more. A link to the Wikipedia articles is sufficient. Also, it would be a bit tricky to write in-universe. Aside from the fact that people might think that the writers of this Wiki are somewhat touched in the head, the game it's self is also largely up to the player to decide. Which faction comes out on top, how each vehicle performs in combat, etc. What we could possibly do instead is to offer a fan-fiction section for the editors or those who wish to contribute in some manner.--Sgt Kelly 17:52, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
